"Day 1" Visit

Paperwork (Isn't there always paperwork?!)

On your first day we will need for you to complete paperwork that will give us information on your current situation and anything in your past, family or medical history that will aide us in making the best possible recommendation for your care.(Please allow approximately 45 minutes for time with Dr. Enix or Dr. Schumacher on this first day.)

If you would prefer to complete your paperwork ahead of time please email ginny@cumberlandbackpain.com to request.

Consultation

Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with Dr. Enix or Dr. Schumacher to discuss your health-related issues and concerns.

History and Examination

In order to determine what your actual condition is, the doctor will review your paperwork including your health history with you and may ask additional questions for your specific situation. He will also perform orthopedic and neurological tests to give him a more complete picture.

X-ray Studies

Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you.

Home Instructions

Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.

"Day 2" Visit

You will be given a convenient appointment time for your REPORT OF FINDINGS visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days and are provided with a complete review of findings. You will be given a treatment plan for your condition and will receive your first adjustment this day.

Before you leave we will work out the details of your appointment schedule and your financial plan.
